Where it sits on the medal scale

This helmet is the ringed dot. Every other dot is another helmet we have rated.

Each dot is one helmet, placed on the line at its Protection Score. The band it falls in is its medal. Hover or click a dot to see the helmet.

Every helmet HIPER rates has passed the safety standard (EN 1078). A Bronze medal still means a protective helmet.

We would like to thank Halfords Limited for providing us with a gift card to purchase this helmet from their stores for testing. This gift-in-kind was put towards the purchase of test samples only and does not influence the results of any rating.

Impact test videos

Each helmet was tested at 4 impact locations, three times each. The videos show one of the repeats.
